This handy docking station lets you turn your Archos Generation 4 video player (sold separately) into a DVR device to record MPEG-4 format video complete with audio! Just pop your Archos player into the dock, and hook the dock up to your TV or other video source - i.e., your satellite/cable box, DVD player, VCR, camcorder, or other! The docking station also provides a range of A/V outputs to let you play recorded videos through your TV, and audio through your stereo - even capable of playing 5.1 surround sound via compatible systems. Or if you choose, you can also use the DVR Docking Station to connect your Archos to your computer/hard disk/mass storage device to play or transfer content that way. It is incredibly versatile!
